We are excited to announce that our August 2021 online group exhibition, “Regeneration” is being curated by the Executive Director of CENTER, Laura Wzorek Pressley! To enter, all you need to do is read and respond to the following prompt with your analog photography. The best of these images will be showcased in an online show, beginning August 16th, 2021. Good luck!

Laura Wzorek Pressley writes:

Right now, as we shake off the residual tensions of former selves and re-member back into our communities, how do we support personal and cultural regeneration?

Carl Jung argued that before the archetypal renewal process can occur, we must reconnect our individual lives with our historical roots and the deep symbolic and archetypal images of the past (Edinger & Blackmer, 1995). In nature, we see that the growing light harnesses the reserves of strength to manifest unrealized potential. The summer shift in day length triggers blossoms to set fruit. What does personal reformation and transformation look like? What rites of passage do you honor?

- Edinger, E. F., & Blackmer, J. D. (1995). Mysterium Lectures: A Journey Through CG Jung's Mysterium Coniunctionis (Studies in Jungian Psychology by Jungian Analysts). Unspecified.

Deadline for Submissions is July 31st, 2021
