PRESS

Founded in 2018 as a passion project by four friends, Analog Forever Magazine has become the world’s premier journal of contemporary film and analog photography. Though we have grown substantially, our mission statement hasn’t changed:

We aim to provide a global audience to established and emerging photographers who use analog processes and techniques for their photographic work by giving them a voice via a biannual print photography journal, online features and interviews, book reviews, and online exhibitions.

This is what the industry has had to say:

“Analog film purists can rejoice with the release of a new print magazine dedicated to our niche craft. Of course ‘new’ doesn’t always equal ‘good’ does it? But this is the real deal.”

"Analog Forever, is a world-class magazine, which showcases a wide collection of images by masterful and collected photographers, as well as exceptional contemporary photographers. I am always inspired when I read the engaging interviews."

-Dave Christensen, Director & Curator, Harvey Milk Photo Center, San Francisco

"Analog Forever is an annual magazine that collects works, stories, and interviews of select film photographers. It is a well-put-together, superbly designed, and meticulously curated publication that undoubtedly gives film photography a good name.”

-Dmitri, Founder and Editor, Analog Cafe on Edition 2 of Analog Forever Magazine. Read the full review here!

“…You need to hold this in your hands.  Smell the pulp, feel the weight, engage with the content, and smile. For people like myself, it’s a creative source for ideas, for suggestions into techniques and processes I’ve never attempted.”

-The Phlogger on Edition 1 of Analog Forever Magazine. Read the full review here!
