We begin our Exhibition Season with the work of Mixed Media Artist Solomon Bennett:

“KNUCKLE” is a digital and analogue, photo and video installation. It is comprised of numerous photo pieces that highlight men from various backgrounds in the midst of behavior that, in some way or another, exemplifies my idea of masculinity through a framework of freedom.

The artist explains: "These photos speak to what masculinity means to me while the video being projected highlights my personal influences that constructed my own idea of manhood. I feel like I have a lot to say about the state of the world as a result of men's actions and emotions and most of it has to do with our (as people) warped sense of value . As a result, I want to show what I value as a man via these portraits".

The artist will have zine's with extra included inside for sale for just $3.00! They include an artist statement, stickers, and gum! There will be beverages at this event! So bring your party hat!
