Exhibition: Excelsior District: Forever Upward at Photoworks SF

  • Photoworks SF 2279 Market Street San Francisco, CA, 94114 United States (map)

Photoworks SF is pleased to present Excelsior District: Forever Upward, a photo-documentary seven years in the making by Travis Jensen and Rasta Dave. With an emphasis on family, friendship, community pride and camaraderie, Forever Upward is a story about San Francisco's last working class neighborhood amidst a rapidly changing city. Presented by StreetFoto San Francisco, the exhibition is a precursor for an in-depth book about the neighborhood slated for release in 2020.

Make sure to catch the opening reception Wednesday, June 5, from 7:00-10:00pm at Photoworks SF! If you can’t make it, don’t worry! You can see this exhibition through June 30th, 2019!
